My Second Affair with Abu Dhabi - from 16th January 2026 till (Unknown)

 It is 10:45 night. Five long years have gone by since my last post. We left Abu Dhabi on July 2020 after hubby got a transfer back to Houston - the woodlands, to be exact. He got a transfer back to Abu Dhabi in July 2025 and came here with the children on 14th August, 2025. I arrived in Abu Dhabi on my second stint on 16th January, 2026 after completing my first term at Bozman Intermediate as a 6th Grade Math Teacher. 

Wow! Just realized today is exactly 1 month since my arrival here. I feel much settled now. Ikea staff is assembling my day bed and book shelf in my upstair office as I type this. I have so much to talk about what happened in the last 3 years in the woodlands but then that is in the past and it is better if the past, no matter how glorious or not so, remains there. I am going to write about my own journey here in Abu Dhabi on my second term. 

The timeline or dates are such interesting subject to study. 

For example, I arrived in the US for the first time in January, met the love of my life in January, met my husband in January, Got engaged in January, Got married in January, Had my first child in January, Started my BSEE, MSE, and M.Ed. - all in different years - in January. I arrived in Abu Dhabi on 16th January 2026 - the day of my wedding anniversary in January. for my first stint in Abu Dhabi, I arrived here on 22nd November 2014. I returned to the woodlands on 20th July, 2022. 

January has always been the month of new beginnings in my life. Dates and Timings are important.
